“Real World” On-the-Job Experience
Infotech Career College maintains strong relationships with local employers who may provide students with the experience they need during a guided externship. During the externship you will work in a real healthcare environment under the supervision of your employer. Many of our students are able to get hired off of their externship site.
During a typical day in this job you might take patient histories, administer injections, draw blood (phlebotomy), and take vital signs. Some administrative tasks you might complete include patient charting, electronic health records, typing, and appointment scheduling.
